Toola Marcou is the Principal Lawyer of Marcou & Associates Lawyers.
Before coming to the Law, Toola was previously a Commonwealth Public Servant. Toola graduated with the Dean’s Medal for academic excellence in Law.
Toola is passionate about social justice, volunteering at Community Legal Centres since 2003 and she has been a Victoria Legal Aid panel member for more than a decade.
Toola has extensive experience practising in Family Law in both the community and private sector.
Toola is a member of the Family law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
Toola speaks Greek.
Toola is a talented cook and has a country garden in regional Victoria.
Bronwyn Doyle won a number of awards at university for academic excellence – for the highest enter score, for the best undergraduate essay, an honour’s year scholarship, and then graduated with first class Honours in English Literature.
Bronwyn has volunteered at a number of Community Legal Centres and served on a Board of Management for a support service assisting people who live with disabilities.
After graduating Law with Honours, Bronwyn’s strong commitment to access to justice saw her begin her legal career at a Community Legal Centre assisting vulnerable clients.
Bronwyn had the honour of being a Judge’s Associate to Federal Circuit Court Judge whose docket was solely Family Law matters.
Bronwyn recently completed her Masters of Laws with a Family Law research paper on the subject of children’s meaningful relationships and the problem of family violence.
Bronwyn loves Shakespeare, international travel and hiking (slowly).
Nicholas Tran is an experienced practitioner who appears regularly in the Family Law Courts, the Magistrates’ Court and in mediations.
Nick was a Biochemist before coming to the Law. At university, Nick won an award for his mooting, mediation and negotiation skills, and went on to graduate Law with Honours.
Nick has particular interests in mental health and social justice and their intersection with the Family Law. He has volunteered in a number of Community Legal Centres and for Victoria Legal Aid.
Nick is fluent in Vietnamese.
Nick is a food gastronomique and likes to run for charity.
Amanda Moxon completed her Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice) and Bachelor of Laws in 2014 and joined Marcou and Associates in 2015.
Amanda practices in Family Law (with regular appearances at lawyer assisted mediations and informal dispute resolution conferences) and Family Violence Intervention Order matters.
Amanda provides clear advice that is easy to understand, and clients regularly praise her for her professionalism and approachable nature.
Amanda is a classic car enthusiast and the State Secretary of the Victorian Chapter of the Thunderbird Owners Club of Australia.
